Ended my one & only written exam for this course earlier this morning, and considering the amount of time I spent studying (what with all the celebrations of the b-days etc), I'm glad that it turned out alright - at least I won't fail.

And yes, it's that time of the year again when I am happy & excited, yet with a tinge of sianness - because it's the birthday. 2010 really passed by very quickly, it felt like only last year that I celebrated my birthday in S*orts Sc*ool with some friends, because we were at an international camp for the inaugural Y*G - it was a small, cosy celebration.
This year was quite the opposite :P
I'd have to say that the organizers for this celebration had done a fantastic job, because it's definitely the 2nd most memorable birthday celebration I've had thus far - the 1st being, of course, my 21st birthday when I went on a scavenger hunt done up by my bestie and got dunked into the pool by another group of friends. This year's was memorable indeed, because for the second time in my entire life, I donned a costume and paraded in front of people. The first was in 2000 for my TSD exams where I had to put on a Victorian dress and perform at the school's fishing pond for my examination;
this year, on 8 Dec 2010, I was dressed up as -
*drumrolls please*
SUPERMAN.
YES, Superman me was dressed up and walked down Orchard Road, took a bus (i think T*mt*ng was upset that I didn't manage to get a free bus ride! hahah :P), had dinner at Brewerkz - all in that costume. I am quite proud of myself actually, I actually dared to wear that out of the hotel and parade down the busy streets of town - there was even a random stranger who came up to me to take photo with me! Hahah, but I think many people who saw me thought that I was having a hen's night party rather than a birthday party :P Hmm, but I guess as what my friends said, "I'm a good sport!" *gives myself a pat on the back*
But I absolutely refused to wear that to WineBar, so I changed out before we went to WB and seriously, all that I remembered was how cooling it felt when i took off the costume in the toilet! The cloak was strangling me and the six-pecs on the costume was very warm, so erm next time don't want such a hot (literally of course, HAHAH no pun intended!) costume can?? EHS, BUT I don't want to wear costume again lahh! Been there, done that, NEXT PLEASE! :P
And at WB, all I remembered was drinking, drinking and more drinking. This was my drinks list for the night (if I didn't remember wrongly):
- at least 10-12 glasses of Martell Green Tea
- 2 Super Lambourginis
- 1 "Hot & Sticky" (no idea what the f*ck was in that, only remembered it was some orange-juice lookalike drink)
Thereafter, went into P*uture with a friend to dance and apparently after that, I was so freaking high that I was talking non-stop to the friends who went back to the hotel room with me, dropped my phone a thousand times (wahlaus, now on hindsight I'm glad that it was my old phone!!), managed to shower by myself (miraculously), dropped my comb a few times while combing my hair and finally collapsed onto the bed when T*mt*ng ordered me to go and sleep and "shuddup" (I must have been talking A LOT hahahah) :P
But, all those drinking had a price to pay and I paid for them the next day.
Nevertheless, it had been a great birthday celebration - thanks to my friends! :)
the people whom shared a lovely (and fun!) night out on my special day!
<3 you all! :)
and of course, special thanks to the ones who planned and made this night possible:
