might as well update a bit since well vacation time and i've been up late knitting and decorating.
the house won't be ready until after the 28th so we decided to stop being a pouty puss and get into the xmas mood. so the tree is done, the toy factory and the rudolph crew is done, the nativity is up, and i bought a huge wreath at michaels and the fixings...looks pretty cool.
friday was craptastic...let's see i came back to finding no note from the sub i had thursday. thought man they must've been good...uh ya right. i get a call asking me how my day was the other day since i had sent 6 kids out..huh? wha? got the names of the six and gave them detentions they argued and that was just the beginning. Every year I have my students make reindeer, simple project takes them back to being a kid, and they usually come up with some cool stuff....ya..so one student tells me..man we knew you were liberal and said we could make anything but a kkk reindeer...i'm lost going wtf? are you talking about and sure enough on my board of reindeer there he was. some asshole took one of the mexican soccer reindeer and pasted a sheet over it's head, replaced the mexican flag with an american flag, and put a flaming torch in the other. i wasn't shocked since there were enough dumb white power a=holes around, but still to have that in my room or around me makes me feel dirty.
anyway in other news anyone wanting some xmas luff i have a few more xmas cards...anyone want one? they have a pic of my kids, you have been warned.
