it has been ages. I've traveled hundreds of miles, and experienced more than I could possibly imagine in the last two months. I'm writing this from biloxi, mississippi - the location of my technical training for the next six months. The whether has two levels here: raining and steamy, or blast furnace. The katrina damage in the surrounding areas here is insane.
I'm engaged.
this may come as a bit of a shock to anyone who I haven't spoken with in the last year or so. She is a source of joy in my life. The wedding will be in december.
there's not a whole lot else for me to say here. Or rather, there's so much more for me to say that it would take me hours and hours just to scratch the surface. No one has converted me to the republican cause, which should come as a relief to many. I'm a hell of a lot more anal about pressing my clothes. I run miles in 105+ weather. I have a tan, but only on my head and arms. I miss people from home, I miss my family. I have a military haircut (which, lets be honest, isn't too much of a change from my regular hair). San antonio is yellow.
my world is insane, some of it I love, some of it I soldier through - but damn its always new
