The day did not start off well because Tala -having no need to use public buses lately- dorked out reading a timetable, got the wrong time for her bus, and missed it. Which made her late for her winter semester registeration.
Bullocks.
But apparently someone loves me as, while I was fifteen minutes late and because of other students who needed to register, I had time to spare. Once realising that I was not in fact screwed, my day picked up.
My schedule isn't ideal per se but it's still rather smashing. My Tuesdays end at 3:30 instead of 2:00 -that's not bad. Nothing I haven't lived with before. The Macro class I wanted was unavailable so that means I have a break on Monday (rather than five straight classes) but it also means that I finish at 6:30 on Thursdays. Speaking of which, I start at 8:00 those days so that could be painful.
But onto the good! Which far out-weighs the bad! I GOT MYTHOLOGY!! Pro'lly the only reason I got it was because it was full. xD Give me a moment, this does indeed make sense. When my advisor entered my schedule (what classes were already chosen) there wasn't a single available Humanities that fit. So advisors then choose the 'include capped classes' in the search when this happens. Essentially I had my pick of classes (:3) and the excuse of 'I had no choice'. xD Yeah, it was flippin' awesome. My Mondays start at 8:00. Pff, who cares? I've got Mythology and History first thing. Mondays will rock. This better not bite me in the ass.
My Wednesdays and Fridays are untouched! YES!! 8D So while I again wake up early three out of five days, the two days I don't, I can sleep in my little heart out. My late Fridays are a blessing because I get home late on Thursdays, so I can do homework without the worry of attending an early class.
I got a semi-intensive for Gym, not my first choice but there was nothing for it. ALL my options were semi-intensives. It was either trail hiking or indoor climbing. I all but pounced on the indoor climbing since I did it in elementary and loved it. The advantage to a semi-intensive is that you do six-seven weeks and you're done. The downside is additional fees and week-end trips. But hey, it's indoor climbing, I'm bound to have fun. :)
The next bit is just me being hopelessly obsessed with my savings. Being in World Studies with eight classes, I would have thought the book costs to be greater compared to Health. Turns out I was wrong, yayness~ However, I wasn't able to get Vann as my locker partner which is a bit of a downer, but oh well. Some of my friends were looking at the teachers I got. Apparently I should beware Macro and English. If it turns out to be unpleasant like they said, I'll just have to be awesome. I'm determined to let nothing get me down, some things will I know, but I will make the best of everything I can!
All in all, school should be quite decent. Should. *fingers crossed* Cannot procrastinate, I've got scholarships to earn.
