wisdome teeth suck
Got my wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday. All four of them. Hopefully this will help in my effort to limit the intensity and quaantity of my migraines. Anyways, went in at 8:45 got an IV had some drugs and went to sleep. Woke up at around Noonish and went home. Apparently I woke up at some point before I was really awake and kept complaining to my aunt that my room was green? I dont know. She said I was very cute all drugged up. I was nice and wrote thank you notes to the doctor nurse after being asleep for half an hour after the surgery. I was actually very coherent for the rest of the day. They wouldnt give me enouh medication though. They said that percocet would have been too strong for my tiny little frame. So at first they said the vidcodin dose of 1 pil every 4 hours was all i was supposed to get. My uant said screw that and gave me one pill every two hours because she knew that i had a high tolerance for pain killers just like her. I eventually got the ok to up my dosage later thaT night from my dentist, Dr. Goth, awesome name I know. Anyways, afetr sugery I went out mailed my hair to Locks of Love, mailed a few packages with my aunt for work, got some gas, got some medication, and somenecessary food items. Then I went home and talked to me brother, uncle, and Kevin. I wasnt able to talk much the second day. It hit me once all the novacain was gone and puffiness just grew.
2nd day: Severe pain. My 3-day continuous migraine had ended. So this was a headache free day thank god. THe day before I had a strong barbituate, Midrin, Vicodin, Amoxicillin, Asprin, and Elavil all coursing through my veiuns. Wasn't awake much. Just lots of pain.
3rd day: ANother migraine. A lot of pain, and i still cant open my mouth. I havent eaten anything but poudding for two days. My life basically really really sucks at this point. I finally get to munch on some mac and cheese and soup.
4th day: I can eat more soup and thats it. Well that and ice cream. I got to stop icing my face and started usin heat. That was fun having a pain relief patch for worn out muscles wrapped around my face all night. Wooot.
Today; STill in lots of pain. My pain is worst when I first wake up and for the next few hours following when i wake up. My teeth also hurt a lot still towards the end of the day. I dont know why. Im still bleeding pretty badly. I wake up every morning, this morning was the worst though. I coughed up a lot of blood and i continued bleeding all htroughout the day. It sucked. The bleeding is apparantly normal. Only one of my sutures has dissolved, moreover, i ripped it out. The other two, my bottome two teeth, which were impacted and huurt like hell, are still undissolved. i have a feeling they wont dissolve either. Which is bad because that means he'll have to surgically removethem. Once more, I have a cavity and a filling that popped out of my root canal which needs a cap. Whcih might not even get to stay in my mouth because Goth is afradi he may have to remove my teeth because they may be too damaged from the surgery. Joy.
My only parting words are that if you have wisdom teeth that need to be pulled that are also impacted, you are one poor bastard.
