work sucks

Yeah. I hate my job. I'm not paid the best but I'm ok with that, it beats workin at a supermarket. But the part that pissed me off the most was yesterday they told me to come in for a shift from 5 to 10. Well it turns out that the company hasn't realy paid attention to how many people they have been staffing over the week, and its only a Wednesday mind you, so the manager suddenly realizes that they can't afford to pay that many people for thsat many hours. So the managaer starts going up to people and forcing them to leave work immediately. I was one of five to be shoved out the door. Normally I wouldn't mind you know say if a I worked full-time, but I only work part-time and the few days I get to work I kinda like to work so that 1. I can get paid and 2. so that I can get out of the house. I only got to work 2 hours yesterday. To me that's more of an insult than being called up and told not to come in at all, which they did to me twice last week for days I was scheduled. What was the point of making someone come in to work 2 hours? Anyways, I go in today and they ask me to work a few extra hours becuase apparently today they're understaffed. I don't understand these people. Plus, my old stpre managaer quit and didn't work at all last week like she was supposed to so the compnay shipped in a new store manager, some young guy who looks like he's my age. It's sad. Anyways, I hope they don't send me home early tomorrow or saturday. At least they are giving me the days I requested of for vacation. I'm still hoping to find a better job which pays higher next month when all the college students wuit their jobs. It should be a lot easier getting another job then I think. Ranting over.

On the plus side, I found out yesterday that I can buy seasons 1 through 6 of the best sci-fi comedy of British goodness, Red Dwarf.
