I totally agree with you: in a less silly story, I really hope that they'd have moved a bit closer to intimacy by then! *laugh* But then, in a less farcical world... I doubt that Sousuke would have needed a second try at a bra. They're not really that difficult... I think. ^^; I'm so happy you enjoyed it, though--I don't normally write silly stories, but darn, this one was fun!
If you can believe it, the bikini logic occurred to me in the middle of last week's endocrinology lecture. About sex hormones. No joke. And yes, there is a rather awful story on my hard drive whose inspiration came from the topic of that lecture, too. *winces* Besides--Sousuke might be oblivious, but his eyeballs work just fine. Even I thought Chidori cleaned up pretty darned nicely in a bikini. There had to be some kind of reason he wasn't even looking... ^^;

By the by--I haven't read the story on your LJ yet: I'm not quite caught up on the books, I'm afraid. ^^; Coincidentally, though, I literally just finished an FMP fic today that sort of offhandedly mentions Sousuke's scar, and it's a relief to find out that there isn't actually a canon explanation.
...let's just hope that our explanations don't end up being the same thing. *laugh* And thank you for writing, as well--there's definitely not enough FMP fic out there!
