And this is what happens when we all turn our backs on the things of old. We cease to enjoy the simpler things in life and instead turn to that which has been proven.. ah how to put it. Not so simple I suppose. Things that are rather drastic in measure tend to have drastic consequences, do they not? It saddens me that something so drastic would happen to a magnificent centerpiece of our city, but perhaps it was there for some kind of retribution or an example. I daresay it shook everyone up quite a lot.
Has the girl been recovered? I would sorely hate to know we've lost one of our own in such a tragedy, but if that were to happen, it would be best to know such a thing sooner rather than later so we may rest our grieving hearts. Have many of us have already grieved in such a way for someone else, hm?
