In fannish news:
I am putting together a del.icio.us page, at the urging of the mad, bad, and dangerous to know
ainsley. Right now I have about six stories linked, but it's scarily easy to do this, and I have the feeling it will be more like three hundred by the end of the night. I don't think I'll be very helpful in terms of finding new fic - often the things I bookmark and want to recommend have already been recommended forty frillion times over - but it will be nice to have them all in one place, and sometimes it's nice to find a good, dependable del.icio.us when I'm entering a new fandom.
Firefox has a news response to the LJ debacle, which I enjoyed primarily for the last lines: "Firefox News has attempted without success to contact Six Apart via phone and email for comment. We have nothing polite to say to Warriors for Innocence." Ahaha.
I am slowly wading through my email inbox, trying to get rid of emails so that I will feel less guilty when I open it. I realized that I didn't respond to some feedback from a while back. Here, help me make the decision that I have already secretly kind of made:
Poll Otherwise:
My dad and I have been mooching around the house, behaving badly and staring at the neighbors. I showed him
Teen Girl Squad. He liked it very much. I sometimes wish I could accurately describe my dad and how we conversate in this journal, because I think it would delight a few of you. Oh well.
"Is mom coming home?"
"I don't know. I don't ask anymore. She's grown now, you know, on her way in the world, and it's not my place to interfere."
"That's true."
"I would probably know if I read her livejournal. Oh, that's sad. I didn't say that."
GIP!:
This is me, pretending this is not a MCR icon, but instead a Teen Girl Squad icon. This is you, realizing that I am an idiot.
