Back on the Path
I usually just do not bail on work assignments but if they are really shitty then I make exceptions.
My theory is low paying jobs are usually shitty and miserable. Higher paying jobs are more enjoyable. I think my mother and step-father have resented the fact that I never exactly raced to find a shit job right out the gate. I am worth more, and I know this as a fact. For me there will just be a plenitude of opportunities. Let the dumbshits who never learned to read or finish high school work the shit jobs.
Tomorrow I have a job interview at a place I would really love to work. I am totally blowing off this other assignment just to make the interview, but when better opportunities arise you just have to take it. Ultimately you go with the best deal, any other way is Communism.
