I explained to you that it was a mistake on my part for not realizing that infernal device was turned on. I don't take well to being insulted for an honest mistake and I certainly don't need you to judge my choice of words or subject matter.

I would also remind you that you were the one who initiated this conversation and chose to insult me after I explained what had occurred.
