weird shit all around...
So, in one day, today, I finished all my grad school app noise (bring on the waiting), but started and finished my xmas shopping, cleaned my house, put up my xmas tree and decorations (with the help of my awesome friend greg), and got drunk in celebration of all my accomplishments. but also, tonight, was there for my boss as she revealed that she might have just tonight ended a 12 year relationship tonight and is facing being 45 and alone. ouch. it seems as though tis the season for relationship issues. i guess i should be thankful that i don't have one. and i am. which is not to say that i haven't had my heart ripped out recently and thrown through a paper shredder, but whatever. them's the breaks, i guess. one can never experience true pleasure without true pain. i keep telling myself ty\hat, in the hopes that i'll believe it. we'll see...
