the six day weekend...
ok, i'll try not to make this as long as it could be. let's see about the highlights then: friday: got to hang with scrappy and bug and raven and moe. lots of great conversation. was at the height of my pool game recently. felt on top of the world. moe gave me a great idea to think about going back to school, we'll see how that pans out...talked with a local director who may be interested in producing my translation of aristophanes' lysistrata in the fall semester at RIC. thats freakin awesome! got a fantastically beautiful piece of jewelry brought from india for me from scrappy. shes awesome. saturday: stayed in bed and read/napped most of the day til autmnsshadow got to my house, which drove my roommate out fairly quickly (hee hee). wonderful connecting and then really fun pub night with scrappy (mmm...yum...someday...) and jessie. caught the end of waterfire, just as romantic as it needed to be, some nice wandering around and back to the house for little sleep. sunday: late awakening to a fantastic brunch with bug and scrappy and autmnsshadow, then long ass, though not unfun drive to vt to see theartemisiaway. FABULOUS dinner upon arrival to the inn (thank you grovegoddess!) amd really cool chicks to chat with about jewish muppets and various other random things. great hanging out time around the fire, then really great alone time in the studio reading, giving the boy and girl time to themselves and me to myself. wonderful, comfortable fun night of olympics. great awakening on monday to a wonderful breakfast (again thanks be to grovegoddess, an amazing chef!) to some quiet, weird time to a drive with autmnsshadow to weenie's house in burlington where i saw a ton of old friends and acquaintances i hadn't seen in easily 5-10 years. fantastic conversation and people around everywhere. went to see strangefolk perform for weenie's graduation at the metronome in burlington, not really my kinda scene, too happy for me, but had fun checking out cute chicks, being dared to talk to them and discussing taking them home =). REALLY fun car ride back to the inn, where we both jumped a beautiful woman wearing next to nothing. =) tuesday afternoon autmnsshadow left the inn, and theartemisiaway and i got to have some alone time, which was fantastic. we had i think a 5 hour conversation tuesday night about very literally everything and tried to go into the jacuzzi, but the rain was far too annoying. had a lazy morning of sleeping in on wednesday and doing not much of anything all day, until early evening when weenie came up to the inn for some good take out chinese and relaxing conversation. at 11pm, theartemisiaway and i decided she needed to get away from the inn and i needed to get home, so we hopped in the car and heading to providence. got in around 4am, slept in and she left this afternoon. and now i'm back in my life (thankfully back in a city again!) and just thinking about what a phenomenal life i lead...theres a whole bunch more thought process and realizations and what not that goes along with the weekend, but this post is long enough, so ill be back with al of that later...for now, just enjoying a blissful gratitude for my life and the people that are in it, all of whom are some of the most amazing people on the face of the planet...
