Pairing: Daiki x OC
Rating: PG-13
Genre: romance
Summary: Home was wherever she decided it was.

unlike the nights blurred with lights and music and sensory overload, some lay still in the thrum of a beating heart. after all, there's always a streetlight on somewhere, she would say; the most content sparkle laid glimmering quietly and with little flame.

sometimes, after days upon hours upon lifetimes inside that little space they shared, he would have that sudden feeling again, that near adrenaline rush of loving her so deeply and admiring her so much. her name would explode in his mind like a spiritual orgasm and he would steep, in that stupor, for a long while.

she'd look up at him then, her dull but luminous eyes twitching slightly as she took in his entire existence with a look, and smile. not a big toothy grin like children do when they find happiness in a small event, she’d do the smallest smirk, really a muscle twitch of the lips if anything, and suddenly his world would make sense. it was like the truth of the universe lay behind her eyes and his heart would explode.

eventually she'd get the urge to see something different, something foreign to her and she would run all over again. he was always to follow after her, because at the end of long nights stretched out over weeks filled with chaotic evil she would come home. she always came home, and sometimes home needed to be with her in order for world order to maintain.

so Daiki vowed to follow her always, and it was then he felt his entire life be comfortingly still.
