Quiet Monday
This morning I dreamt that my alarm was steel drum music and I was just off the coast of an island paradise, hearing it in the distance. Obviously I REALLY didn't want to get up and face the world today. Heh.
It's been a quiet day. It's Neko Case on my itunes this afternoon. It's gray outside.
After work I am going to meet someone from Craigslist, to sell my ACL ticket. I should have done it a few weeks ago. The listings are flooded with them now, and I'm only getting $200 for it. Whatever, it's $200 I didn't have. I do think I should buy another ticket for next year's show with that money though, so that's probably what I'll do. I just wasn't crazy about the lineup this year, plus I got my kiddo this weekend.
If it's not pouring maybe I'll do the 3-mile trail at Lady Bird Lake tonight. I did it on Saturday and it was beautiful! I did Camp Mabry yesterday too, but it was so hot I quit after two miles. I need to bump up my endurance so I can go running with my guy later this week and not look completely pathetic. LOL!
Anyway, I'm a pretty happy girl, for a Monday. It was a really nice weekend... Made some new memories I can carry in my heart forever. :)
