I didn't have a lot of plans this past weekend, but it turned out pretty nice. Friday night was Girls' Night which included a candlelight dinner (that I cooked!), mojitos, popcorn and a really bad 80's movie. The rest of the weekend I did some cleaning, resting, and spending time with my friends and family. Anna's birthday party was fun. I went swimsuit and underwear shopping on Labor Day and it wasn't too awful. I took Peggy and it was nice catching up with her. I really hope that I am still swimming when I'm 91 years old too!
I'm glad this is a short week. I feel like I have million and one things to do and none of them are getting done. Some things I would like to accomplish before the end of the year:
Defensive Driving
Finish my dining room chairs (this week hopefully)
Get Internet setup at home
Get the website up and running
Scuba Diving course
Reiki class
Take a trip to Dallas, take Peggy to visit Corky, go shopping in Laredo
More volunteer work
Ride a Harley
Most of these things take the better part of a weekend to accomplish, if not longer, and September is already booked. I'm totally stoked about my upcoming trip to Oregon, and ACL this month though. There is just never enough time!!
Guess I'll leave dating on the backburner for a while too. He didn't call. Which of the 3 G's is it? Girlfriend, Gay, or Gutless? Oh well. Can't say I didn't try!
Austin Ladies - Don't forget it's
Le Garage Sale this weekend. I'll be there around 1:00 on Saturday, with Siobhan and Claudia.
