Update for lack of anything else to do...
I'm sitting in my room, listening to Fin reading Siobhan her bedtime story. I'd like to sneak past them and go downstairs to get a glass of wine, but I'll let her get settled in first.
Today was a good day. I got off a little early and walked to the park with my girl. The sunshine felt glorious. We laid down on a big rock in the middle of the park, and she read her book to me. I almost dozed off! But then I tooted, and I said "Excuse me, I tooted. I'm full of toots today." She answered loudly enough for everyone in the park to hear it, "You mean you have GAS? It's okay, Mama, I don't mind that you have GAS." Then she gave me a hug. *lol*
After that adventure I took her and Fin out for Chinese food. He's been working on house projects this spring break, and I volunteered to do dinners this week. Tomorrow I'll actually cook something and Friday night is pizza. This week has kind of flown by. They all do that lately.
I'm wishing that I was in Cleveland with kalinichta tonight for her Gutter Twins show. I'll see them in Austin in a little over a week, but it won't be the same without you girl!
Speaking of which, I'm still not sure if I'll make it up for a visit in April or not. It depends on a couple of things. It's so tempting though.
