I spent 3 days in Ohio last week. Wednesday night was Van Halen. Words can't even begin to describe how great that was - the show was everything I always dreamed about. And more. Dawn came up for the show. It was GOOD TIMES. We hit the town, we put on the Ritz, we found the 14th floor. We saw the sun coming up, and crawled our way back to Akron, with a much-needed stop at Mr. Hero in Brecksville. I didn't die. GOOD TIMES.

Thursday and Friday I hung out with my aunt and my cousin, Dawn, and Timmy, my cousin's nephew. We snuggled up with some blankeys and watched The Cutting Edge. Then we went to the zoo. Joanne took us all out for a fancy-schmancy meal at Lanning's in Bath. I had a minor panic attack, and then Timmy stepped up and drove my ass to Lakewood so I could spend the evening with kalinichta and morganaus. Don't ask me what we were drinking, a Perfect Storm? Cheap rum and apple cider vinegar and sugar. YUM. There was a midnight trip to the all-night diner. I had pirogies. It was so good to see everyone, I didn't want to go to bed, and I really didn't want to go home. But I made it... I missed my little monkey. We've been having an excellent weekend. LIFE IS GOOD.

And.... Go Tribe! Yeah.
