A Lot Going On

I am drinking the most giant iced coffee ever, and it's really good, and it only cost $2. I got it at McDonald's! I never go there, but it was across from the car place and I was thirsty.

Because Eeyore was in the way, I only noticed a few days ago that my inspection sticker was 2 months out of date. I took it in yesterday, and it failed emissions. I put E85 in it a few months ago and since then the engine light has been on, but it's running fine so I figured it was just an overly sensitive sensor (I have several of those). They want to charge $80 an hour to run diagnostics but they seem to think it might be the gasket. Apparently a lot of Tributes have that problem. They did say for $50 they could turn off the engine light and if I drive it around for a while and it comes back on, then I will know I do have a problem. So somewhere between $50 and $500 and I've got 14 days to get it reinspected. Gah. Can I just have the sweet '78 Trans Am I saw in the lot there? Black and gold, with T-tops, and no sensors.

Work has been pretty busy lately, but it's times like this when I actually go home with a feeling of accomplishment and that's always good. Makes up for the down times.

I think we're getting a new ratty tonight!! I'll post pictures if we do.

Tomorrow: Bob Schneider with Fin and Anna, and thatsassylassie all the way from Portland! And it would be rad if I could meet up with my buddy jesshelga too, who came down from Chicago for ACL this weekend.

Have a good weekend, kids!!

weekend, randumb
