I walked over to the new
Italian market and cafe across the street today. I got a grilled focaccio bread with artichoke hearts, tomato, and black olives for lunch. I sat out by the fountain and ate it. The best part? It only cost $1.50! I wasn't really hungry, so that was perfect. The entrees are pretty pricey, but I'd be up for having lunch there after payday.
Now, someone make me stop eating these sour Mentos, I've almost eaten half the box already!
The weekend was pretty good. We had lunch with Ruby and Julie at our favorite Mexican restarant, and then we perused the new
Asian Supermarket for about an hour. I only bought three things though - Bryers vanilla ice cream, a canteloupe, and some strawberry Pocky. Saturday night Donovon and Anna came over, and Alexa graced us with her presence too. Siobhan absolutely worships her and she was so good about keeping her busy and playing with her all night. Meanwhile, I made
mint juleps with fresh mint from our little garden and we grilled out. Goodtimes.
