I... I will never look at FFVII time-travelling fics the same way again. In fact, I will never look at all FFVII fic the same way again. If there is some kind of formula to making fics so awesome and epic and fan-fucking-tastic you have just fucking nailed it with this story of ultimate win. Really, I am serious about this. You have managed to appeal to practically everybody in the FFVII fandom. You've even managed to have yaoi fangirls rave about all the blatant gay subtext and not so slash-inclined people thank you for the lack of gayness in the same chapter. I have no idea how you have managed to do that. Just so much awesome.

I-I-I'm just so ridiculously glad that everything has turned out SO WELL. I could probably quote 182740923 lines here and add a paragraph or two of additional raving for every single quoted line, but the comment prolly won't fit, then. Just. OH GOSH SEEING CLOUD SUCCEED IN CHANGING STUFF AROUND AND FINALLY BEING HAPPY AND AT PEACE WITH THE WORLD. AND ALL THE SEXY GOOD GUYS ARE ACTUALLY ALIVE! THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ENDING OF THE WHOLE FFVII COMPILATION IF SQUEENIX WEREN'T A COUPLE OF AWESOMELY SADISTIC BASTARDS BENT ON MANIPULATING FANGIRLS' WEAK HEARTS INTO BUYING ANOTHER GAME JUST FOR THE CHANCE OF A HAPPY ENDING (which we will obviously not get).

And oh dear god so much happiness for me and my slash goggles! I do believe my sister and I managed to pin-point several sentences and squee at all the awesome gayness in them. We were all "yep, this will be the basis for this pairing" while nodding our heads. I'm pretty sure Nanaki lives in Cosmo Canyon and not Cosmos Canyon, though.

haha, word. way to say it--i worship ur epic writing =D, every element in this story was woven together so expertly, and i love the Loveless framework for the story; the play worked well in complementing the story's themes and characters themselves.

Hahaha, I am also amused by the non-slashers coming by to praise the 'gen-ness' of this fic, while we flail over the subtext. XP sinnatious clearly knows what she's doing. >D

It has been a kind of interesting cross-section of readers! But really, the only secret to pleasing both the slash lovers and the gen fans is to keep it as canon as possible. ;) What you can see with your slash goggles in canon works in fandom too...
