Went to Maleny on the weekend.  It's a little town up in the Glasshouse Mountains area, which I guess is kind of on the edge of the Dividing Range.  Very pastoral.  Might have been more fun if I wasn't dressed up in painful shoes for a wedding.  I'm really starting to hate weddings!  Luckily, this was a first wedding so this time I wasn't tempted ( Read more... )

I guess? The weather is like that all the time though. Lucky, because the mountain roads might have been a bit scary in a storm.

Horses~ I had to walk to class today because the trams in the main city street were stopped for the Melbourne Cup parade. I went in the morning when they were doing preparations and the street was full of horses getting groomed for the event =3

I like the last photo too =3

Late to see this but I think I was on hiatus when you posted. :|

So besides the fact you didn't enjoy the wedding much, and urgh, I'm with you on churches, the sights seem to have made it a bit better. I laughed at the cow under the tree - classic! The Diving Range still looks impressive to me, to see the lower trees topped by green mounds. And yay for roads disappearing off into the distance.

I think I'll go catch Dr. Parnassus next week. *rubs chin* Seems like a movie I should be interested in.
