Today is Pretty Much Tops

Jul 06, 2012 20:46

Today was an awesome day!  It is the top contender for best day of 2012 so far.  Take note, months August to December.

Reasons why today was awesome:
  • A couple of us from work went out to lunch at this out-of-the-way ramen place we'd heard about. It is the best ramen I have ever had, seriously, it was even better than Ajisen Ramen, the broth was ( Read more... )

Theatryhthm!!!! I got a chance to play it on my friend's console the other day and I really want to get it!! But I have no 3ds.... Gradually building up reasons (ie. games) why I should get a 3ds. It is almost time. lol.

And sounds like you had a really awesome day!!!

Get one!
Theatrhythm!
Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright (whenever that comes out)!
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask!
Level 5's Time Travellers!
Also holy crap they're making a Super Smash Bros for it. As well as all the other awesome Nintendo staples! \o/

I should just throw this link at you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_3DS_games

...granted a good chunk of this list isn't out yet. But hey, any one of those were a system-seller for me. Everything after that is a bonus. *Shoulder devil*

Lol. I know there's lots of good games but like you said, most of them aren't out yet. so i figure, there's no point buying the console before the games are out. cause it'll just end up sitting there unused. (and it'll be cheaper the longer i wait. haha.)

You've pretty much listed most of the ones I want! and kingdom hearts dream drop distance.

What's time travellers? if it's level 5... i'm interested. :D

Being an owner of a 3DS, I'm just going to throw out some great titles that are out.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Cave Story 3D
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Tales of the Abyss 3D
Mario Kart 7
Pokemon Rumble Blast
Devil Survivor: Overclocked

aside from Devil Survivor, I own the others myself~ and I prefer the 3DS version of ToA to the PS2 version! Ocarina of Time also got a major overhaul.

i want to play it too, but no 3ds yet~ still deciding on the investment since i've not really been gaming as much since i started working.

Know the feeling. It was a worthwhile investment for me as portable gaming is what I seem to do the most of since I started working - all that public transport time. :) Is your commute very long?

depends? it's takes about 30ish mins by bus on a good day. it's just that i have a bit of a walk from the bus to home and vice versa so i try not to carry too much =D;

Oh man, I love Theatrhythm so much thus far. Already have 15,000 Rhythmia on my file. And have bought all the DLC. NO I'M NOT A MUSIC ADDICT, NEVER~ 0>8D

ANYWAY, glad to know you're having a better day than I. xD

Whoa! And it hasn't even been out very long. XD Although, um, I maybe hit 3,000 Rhythmia just last night. And will be buying that DLC almost certainly.

Sorry to hear your day wasn't as awesome, maybe today will be better? :D

Yeah, though I also had the benefit of the US's release date being a few days earlier, heh. ^^; Granted, the number'd probably be higher if it weren't for the ridiculously long shifts I've had this week at work, but still. :V

Well considering I spy a Beloved update, I'd say so~ well apart from our internet being cut off the other night AGAIN gdi *headdesk* Worst 24hrs ever.

This is the first I've hever heard of that game. Tell us if it's any good!

And you are on here cause your lj is full of people who can realise exactly what kind of awesome a day like that is made of. Oooh, I wish I had a ramen place in town!

:O Seriously? I've only been gushing over it for months. Although it doesn't seem to have received much marketing overseas. Tentative impressions are favourable!

No ramen places?! I complain about local food a lot, but I forget sometimes that our proximity to asia and all the ex-pats in the cities mean we get some awesome specialist places.

No ramen places. My city's touted locally as 'the mexican food capital of the world' even though we're not in mexico. Bleeeeech. Low quality cuts of meat, generally, covered with too many spices so you can't taste it.

One actual japanese food place, one vietnamese, one thai, and the rest mexican. WHY DO I LIVE HERE?

LOL. Well, at least you can be proud of something? To be fair, when Mexican food is good, it's fantastic... but when it's as you describe, notsomuch. (Kind of the same as Japanese food really. We have a lot of Japanese restaurants, way too many to count, but probably only ten percent of them are any good. The other ninety... :/)
