I'm liking how this is starting out, and I can't wait to see how it all ties together. I can't help but draw comparisons between the way the Warriors of Chaos act vs. the way the Warriors of Cosmos did when their respective deities fell.

I have to admit, divergence fic is one of my favourite kinds of stories, and the interactions between the small groups of characters, just asd;flkj the hole in my Dissidia heart is being filled with pure wonderful. Most notably the interaction between Onion Knight, Terra and Tidus, though I might be a bit biased there xD

Sorry but I can't help but hear Garland's "You naive weaklings..." in Exdeath's voice.

<3 It is really nothing worth getting so excited over, really. But I too am a sucker for divergence stories (and wanted to imagine how things might go if their fortunes were reversed).

PERHAPS. It also might be because that the Onion Knight + Bartz + Zidane treasure hunting story turned into an Onion Knight + Terra + Tidus story

(It could be a Garland line, too? I'm not sure though, since I don't fight Garland very often, and the only reason I associate it with Exdeath is because of a few 'misheard' battle quotes, where Exdeath apparently reads "Naive Weekly")

Oh ho ho. Now I'm the one who will be repeatedly hitting F5 on the flist. You sort of just want to write every possible grouping, don't you? The potential character interactions are endless!

No, you were quite correct! I have fixed it after a quick check of Garland's encounter voices (thank goodness for the theatre...). (Miserable insects now... which I actually thought was an Emperor line, this is having an eerie knock-on effect...)

This is Atrophy (or used to be, anyway) from FFnet, btw. I have been remiss in stalkage lately, and decided to finally take the plunge.

Now I have LJ account, and will follow your writing. With glee.

I totally transferred over my original Dissidia Cloud at level 100 and raped Chaos good before the stupid cutscene, too. Gragh. Love the idea! It has much of the feeling of inevitability that suffuses the whole game. But as I see this is only the first part, there's no time to tarry!

That about sums it up. \o/
