(no subject)
Rear right side strut and spring assembly, driver's side mirror ( that was broke off from my dad's wife backing into it ), front right side rim w/ new tire, HVAC blower motor and resistors, and the installation of all of the above = all of my pay checks for the month of September.
Now... some people say, "Sell the piece of shit" True enough, I should sell it. But, in retrospect, I'll spend as much on another used car that would need repairs anyway as I am the repairs on my car. And I like my car, so I figure that it's best just to keep it. Unless I can get a good profit on it from all the new shit that I've put into it (except the sterio, I keep that thing, they can have the factory one).
But the next thing that brakes will make me sell the fucker, I refuse to pay more than the thing's blue book value in repairs. I'm putting money on it being the transmission..... There's nothing else left to die on it!
