One of those days.
Not in a necessarily bad mood, but it's been one of those days where things aren't going entirely wrong, but situations have become increasingly annoying. I thought I got paid today, but in fact I get paid tomorrow. That's fine, but I still had to call my landlord to postpone my rent by a day, and now I have to postpone taking one of my girls out on the town, as she has so graciously done for me. I also didn't sleep well. Apparently our AC was off during the night, so I woke up this morning in a state of nastiness.
In happier news, last night was a lot of fun. Karaoke at Goodfellow's and then Jenny, Kevin, and I met up with Little Liz to celebrate her getting a job at Top of the Hill. We pretty much took over part of the patio outside, and just had a great time. Ran into a lot of people I already knew, as well. Learned a brand new drink called a "Tokyo Tea," which is pretty much my new favorite drink in the whole world. It also goes along well with my recent obsession with Asian-influenced designs and things. Cherry blossoms, art, tea, etc.
Other than that, life is good. Surprisingly I am enjoying being single. Not because I'm whoring it up, or anything like that. I'm just having fun being myself. I've actually met two guys recently, but I'm in no rush to jump into anything right now. It's nice to just be having a good time. And one day... I will get around to posting the pictures I've been taking over the last month. Maybe. Work has been crazy over the past few days, but in a good way. Tonight, Molly is throwing a BBQ, and then afterward it's off to Bub O'Malley's. Should be a good time. I'm so glad it's almost the weekend. I can almost feel it.
