I'm only posting because...
...I thought this icon was funny. Now I will fill this post with useless drivel. It's going to be a mish-mash of random stuff that is currently going on.
Meeting up with Brian later. Hopefully it won't be too much of a disaster. I hate dates. I really really hate them. Last night's dinner party was really good. Kevin cooked a ton of food. We had a great time. I really cannot wait for my first paycheck so I can spice up my room a little bit. I'm trying to decide whether to do a somewhat Japanese-inspired cherry blossom/brown theme, or if I'm going to go with my original idea of retro-fun, with a splash of old Hollywood glamour. I really like how, in this move, I ended up with a job that pays a lot more, and my expenses are exponentially lower. I'm in a happy place. I was a smart woman who left her cell phone at home. It only took me a week to set up my voicemail, heh. But hey, now I answer my phone and actively call people. Sometimes I even send a text message! Who knew?
Other than that, not much going on. Work and trivia tomorrow night, at Linda's. Team Yay Cake! will be in full effect. I'll write about my job later. Lots to report on that.
