Make him sweat hard.

What a weekend. I think I'll work backwards, because that sounds like a pretty good idea. Well it sounds like a good idea in my world, and that's what really matters anyway.

First of all, went out with Caroline last night to catch Game 7 of the ALCS game between the Red Sox and the Indians. I'm not gonna lie: I was terrified for this game. Well, happily it ended this way:

11-2, Red Sox goin' to the big show!

It was a lot of fun. We started up at Bub O'Malley's, and ended the game next to a sad Indians fan at Linda's Upstairs. It was such a great game, and then the end, you could see the floodgates open, and the Sox just got one run right after the other. Now we just have to face the Rockies in the World Series, which is going to be a challenge and a half. Kind of terrified, heh.

After that, Caroline and I met up with Alex (Visual of him making a stupid face...) for some beers and ended up closing out the Blue Horn Lounge around 2:30 AM. Whoops. I guess we're all just scintillating conversationalists.

Prior to the wonderful victory of the Red Sox, another team of Red won a game earlier in the day...

BAM!

Granted, we did win, and when I arrived at Bub's later in the day, Dougie played "Hail to the Redskins!" on the jukebox, but I was still not completely pleased. If anyone else on my list cares about the 'Skins (and I doubt you guys do), yesterday was yet another typical Redskins showing of football, except we just didn't lose. Where was our defense the second half? What was the offense doing the second half? It's like they all get tired and stop playing after halftime. It's the most depressing thing ever. Because of this trend, you can't even be happy about an early lead, as a 'Skins fan... because there's about a 99% chance that they're going to completely blow it, or at least make a good show at trying to blow it. Get. Your Shit. Together. Thank you.

In other football news, UVA beat Maryland. Woot.

Other than that, the weekend (more specifically Friday evening) was crazy, dramatic, entertaining and all shades of everything in between. There were cops who were quoted using the term "blowing chunks", keys disappearing, 3 am rescue missions, etc. I can't even get into it, but it was a memorable evening, for sure. Just another Friday night in Chapel Hill, I suppose!

This week is very exciting. Well, more specifically this upcoming Friday is very exciting. I'll be turning 25 years old on Friday!!! In celebration, I've been having fun tweaking my Amazon Wishlist, because I can, and it's fun. This Friday there's going to be some sort of to-do at Bub O'Malley's for my birthday, aka I'm going to go there like I normally do on Fridays, except this time I'll be 25 years old, instead of 24 years old, heh.

Anyway, I have so much to get done today, in spite of the fact that neither of my bosses are here today. By the way, anti-glare screens for your computer monitors don't work for crap. I'm still squinting.
