My essay so far:

literature is inescapably concered with the construction of gender, with what it means to be of one sex or the other within particular social circumstances. Yes. I completely agree.

I used Horatio and Archie from the Hornblower films. Lots of cutesy slash fics about them, nice PG rated things which are acceptable to let teachers see.
