I had mail today! Yay! Unfortunately no male.
It was my info about the United Nations Youth Association conference this weekend. It's a three day conference up in Serpentine on the subject "Peace-keeping: Ineffective, Inadequate, Indispensable" (I have a feeling they wll be proud of that wittiness and repeat it over and over. Just a feeling).
We all represent different countries, have different committees and groups. I am:
Representing Canada and part of the Peace and Security Commission in the lilac group.
How exciting for me. ^^
I need to do some research before hand, so I'm just going to wikipedia it and rattle off some stuff about the Washminster Mutation that we learnt in Political and Legal studies last week to sound impressive.
I'm so incredibly lazy, it scares me sometimes.
Oh, and I just watched Blood Diamond, inspired by my topic of 'The Illicit Trade of Conflict Diamonds'.
Hey, it was research.
And, since I miss out on friday of school (both good and bad), guess who has no homework until monday (when she has two in-class essays)? ME FTW.
