There’s a cat on our veranda!
Now, the above statement is nothing sensational but the thing is, I never encountered stray cats before. We live on the third floor, in front of a busy street, and the only critters I usually see are birds, which gathers dead twigs and leaves for their nests, and butterflies, which lays their egg and we end up having a caterpillar infestation the next day.
The thing about cats and me is that I’m allergic to them. Which happens to be perfectly fine since I don’t like them anyway. I find them to be finicky and arrogant creatures and I hate the way that they stare at you… it’s as if they want to suck out your soul. Right now, I’m feeling clammy and my hands are shaking and it’s a good thing I have
Sirius for company since he’s the one who managed to drive the cat away. Before leaving, the cat sent me a mental message saying, “I will be back and when I return, you better watch out”. I am so locking my windows tonight.
My question is, are you a cat or dog person?
