Well i just got finished watching the nightly news. There was an interesting story about the 'patriot act'. For those who don't know what this new policy is, it basically profiles 'terrorist' and gives the FBI the right to break into your home without your consent, snoop around and such, then it also give them the right to go through all your medical records, and library internet records. I'm sorry, but that is taking the privacy issue too far. I just finished George Orwell's 1984, and a quote that a senator said today reminded me about that book too much, " Stopping the crime with profiling before it starts." Go read the book, know what i'm talking about, then you can comment.
