roleplay for savagestime

He couldn't have hoped for a more beneficial turn of events.

No, that wasn't quite true. He could have hoped for something that wouldn't have ended up in a rather whirlwind marriage (to himself, of all people) and had simply resulted with him being free once again to roam all of Time and Space as he wished it. Oh well. Beggars couldn't be choosers, not in his situation.

The Master stalked around the console of their TARDIS (how they got it was a mystery for another time, one filled with a grand and elaborate series of events that deserve their own telling). He hadn't seen it for months and was now taking the time to admire the machine as a whole; finally something beyond sands, grasses, rivers, ruins, and forests.

"Pity we had to go so soon," he mumbled to his self. "We could have done a lovely number on the lot of them."

He glanced up from the console to look at his future self- younger, shorter, and currently much more Gallifreyan and Time Lord than he was. Also, currently, his new husband. One couldn't exactly say the Master was the sanest of men, after all.

"...Anywhere you have in mind?"
