"--I find the killers--
--begging for mercy, as I cut into them--
--the blood spills, and I take my time to enjoy--"

Over and over again.

The drell has been focused on two main memories. One, being Irikah's funeral. The confirmation of her death, her corpse, and the way Kolyat holds his hand. The last time he'll see his son until his mission with Shepard. The other, is confronting the ones who killed his siha. The only time in which he took to kill, the spill blood painfully. The mess that followed. The only time he enjoyed it.

Usually, he felt nothing. His impeding death on the horizon and his perfect memory often forces him to reflect on his darker deeds, but this is one he finds himself mixed. Some guilty, some regret, but knowing it was a necessary action. Self-fulfilling.
"But you know it was wrong, Thane. You'll die, knowing this. You're so tired."
"You are not Irikah," Thane whispers, straining to keep his voice steady.

This entire matter has caused him a mistake. Cost Garrus's life, as well as his reliability to Shepard. He cannot let that continue.

No mater how pressuring her visage will be, no matter how much he wishes he could just let himself reach for her.

So he sits, he meditates. Or at the very least, he tries to.

"You are not siha."
"You know differently. I'm here. I'm here to take you to the sea."
