[Kaylee had no idea what was going on, truly. For a moment, she'd even wondered if she'd been dropped into another crazy space-station entirely. They'd mussed up her good coveralls, put her in this really...strange outfit, and then set her down in a cubicle.
She could practically hear everything humming and she dare not touch a piece of it.]
Can I git my groceries back?
That ice-cream's probably gonna' start leaking soon?
[No one was listening.]

He's thrown in rather unceremoniously by a guard, and then practically teleports to the door to try to get out. Except the problem is that programs are even faster than dudes-who-are-actually-stable-timeloops, and so all he gets for his trouble is a nasty zap as he runs smack into the force field around the door. Which in turn knocks him on his ass.]
[He doesn't bother talking - mouthing off is for Dave and also people who aren't him. Instead he tries to jump - in one leap - through the roof, only to get slapped against the force field up THERE, too, and again, fall to the floor]
[Welp, one more thing to try. Portal gun. Didn't work through forcefields last time, but hey, maybe he can try again! ... maybe! He fires at the floor, then tries to fire outside ( ... )

Thank her dear and fluffy lord, looked like they were still on the station...just in a strange part of it.]
I was just gettin' groceries. Walked through the teleporter an' came out here.
What's goin' on?

So I got no clue what's goin on, except that all the crazy robots decided to throw some kinda industrial blacklight rave that we all got invited to.

[Kaylee had been cooperative, I mean...they were intimidating and she...wasn't much for violence, but crazy? They'd been kidnapped? Oh, this situation was looking more and more dire.
Kaylee just stares for a moment and then takes a seat in the middle of her cell.]
Oh this ain't gonna be good, I can feel it'.

[He sits by the window between their cells and twirls the portal gun, eyeing the surrounding area. He busted out once, maybe he could do it again? If the bastards hadn't taken his sword he could probably cleave the damn cell in half, but...]
... hey, no worries. I'm a Strider. We're good at dealin with shitty situations. We'll get out of here just fine. Promise.

How d'ya think they work? Like...individual arrays or one big force-field with some bitty partitions?
[She might be able to muck them up and get out...but then there were the guards. Oh...always with the guards.]
So...you really promise?

[he kneels down to look at it more closely]
Man, the problem with all this integrated design shit is that you can't fucking tell where the guts are. If I had to guess though I'd say they're prolly individual projectors. I mean. You're the engineer though, not me. Just working off pure logic here.
[He smirks]
Cross my heart. An' if it turns out I'm wrong you get first dibs on kicking my ass.

青蛙操的流氓, what kind of crazy person would make a cell this overbearing? It was unnecessarily redundant, but it also meant there weren't no chance of it ever goin' out and just...releasing them.]
Shoot. Well, looks like I may git tha chance. Ain't sure I can get one of these down, let alone two, afore they notice I'm messin with it.

Well.
I'mma take a guess that these folks are holdin us for something. So, we just gotta wait till they let us out. And then...
[he taps his portal gun] I got this sucker. And you and I can bust outta here and see if they caught anybody else too.

And arriving here has him very angry.]
Let us out of here. You have no right to do this.

And what was that us, was he sticking up for her? He didn't know she was even there, did he?]
I don't think they's in the mood for talkin' much.
[Kaylee offered that statement with an apologetic sort of smile.]

Who are you?

I'm Kaylee. [She waved, slightly, just to be friendly.] I don't think we need ta' be too worried, they ain't done nothin' yet but stuff us in these little boxes.

I doubt they just captured us for that. Waste of time to abduct people to let them rot in cells.
