[ Thom's all settled in, the rest of the team is debriefed as much as they can be, and Carter is finally tired. He hasn't slept well in a few days -- it's an off and on thing, where his body is so used to sleeping in bits and pieces that he finds it's too easy to stay awake a day or two, and just catch up later. he's working on fixing it, at least, but it's slow going and he hates being inactive, so those nights where he can't fall asleep instantly, he takes to prowling around the base, heading back when he's sure it's secure.
Kat's room is his stop, though, knocking twice and sliding in, pressing the door closed behind him. ]
