Dug had no particular concerns this day.

While he didn't usually have any particular or specific concerns on any given day, today he was especially free of them. As he sat, on the front steps of the building, idly chewing on one of Logan's shoes (he had previously left half of a squirrel in them and had never been told why they were discarded, it had bothered Dug for about fifteen seconds), Dug found himself bored. This boredom was swiftly corrected, however, as Dug heard a sound he had never heard before.

"That is a sound I have never heard before," Dug explained to the remains of the shoe as his ears perked up. But, he quickly realized, this was incorrect.

He had heard the sound before.

The very instant he realized what it was, Dug was off the steps, the shoe forgotten, and running toward the street. He came up just as the car entered sight and Dug barked loudly in warning before bolting toward it.

During his time on Earth, Nemesis had encountered a few animals. Dogs were one of them. He hadn't particularly disliked them, or liked them - rather, he treated them as apathetically as he did humans. They weren't part of his business, and it was best to stay away from them and to cause as few troubles as possible.

Still, Shockwave had warned him about the animal, and asked him to not to step on him. Mentally sighing, Nemesis slowed down to lower the risk of hitting the creature.

Hopefully, it would have enough presence of mind to stay out of his path.

Dug boldly plowed forward toward the approaching vehicle. It was getting far too close to his territory with it's dangerous...danger. While Dug wasn't expressly certain what exactly it was that cars did, he didn't want it doing whatever that was anywhere near his place.

It was just unacceptable.

Dug came to a brave stop in the center of the street and barked again.

"You stop, you car!"

...and it spoke.

Nemesis was not certain he believed his sensors. He quickly played back the feed - yes, the dog had spoke, and had demanded he stop.

...was this normal, for dogs? Or was this part of the 'special' Shockwave had mentioned?

The Nissan rolled...rolled...and came to a stop, less than a foot from the animal.
