[ One's post-prom morning had been and adventure full of puking, stumbling around, waking up in some bushes with some 60-year-old guy, then stumbling off to Space IHOP with him for coffee and eggs. Overall, she figures it could have been much worse, but she was still in rough enough shape that little sister had to go rescue her.

Rescue had involved her stopping at least twice to vomit pancakes and OJ into a poor unsuspecting plant and pausing to apologize to Two and tell her she's the greatest sister she could ever have.

By the time they reached base, One's stomach was empty and she was feeling much better, even if her feet were a little muddy and she smelled like sour vomit by now. She was dying for a glass of water, dehydrated from all that, so the first stop was the kitchen. ]

[ Sisters- they always came prepared with glasses of water. Two was already at the kitchen table with glasses and a pitcher. Someone was being a bit of an over achiever this morning. ]

Don't look so down, not everyone can say they had an old merc take care of them the morning after a hang over. Makes for a good story, anyway.

[ Two wasn't the scolding type. If her sister wanted to go wake up in strange places after a binge, she'd fret to death over her health but would otherwise not pressure One for details unless deemed important. It wasn't like it was a mystery how she ended up there. ]

[ he hears footsteps, distantly- a hangover doesn't mean he's deaf, but it doesn't register until he sees Two slide in and grab those things, leaving him just blinking and then hopping off the counter as fast as he can, ignoring the way his stomach jolts at that.

Oh, god, hangovers are horrible. ]

[ And the post-party aftermath. Two is the best sister though, and One leans in to peck her on the cheek with her gross mouth and reach for one of the glasses. ]

[ Two is your god tier sister. She can ignore the smell (and taste) of puke as she return's One good morning kiss with one on the side of her sister's mouth. ]

[ Carter doesn't bat an eye at that, considering what he'd spent last night doing with Kat. ]

Either way their kissing is totally platonic, even the way One leans on Two when she drinks her water. ]

Noble Six and I went out and got a few different kinds.

Any of the black ones do, as far as I'm aware.

[ he grabs the mint, though, which is what Kat's got him hooked on. ]

[ Almost sulky! She would love some tea or coffee, but she takes the water and drinks it sadly, sort of snuggling into Two's side.

Sorry Carter, flashbacks to nam for you. ]

Coffee's one of the few things that kept me going on a few missions. You know the instant kind they put in MREs sometimes?

We all know what you're talking about. Sometimes it'd be the only thing out of the MREs we'd actually use.

[ Two pours One another glass of water and just shoves it in her sister's direction in a not so subtle reminder she needed all the hydration she could get right now. ]

[ She brushes through the selection, grabbing something with a black label and dunking in a mug of water before getting up to slam it in the microwave. ]

One of the best things about this place is the lack of MREs.
