Sarah didn't waste any time getting to the garden zone in time for her meeting with the Polito woman. She hadn't had much luck in discovering Hypatia's weaknesses or anyone who might be able to take her down for good. She'd been so excited when the message from Asphodel had come; she'd been so sure that help was really on the way.
And then the message had turned out to be from another machine. And it had gone and turned the AI back on.
Hopefully, this Janice would turn out to be less of a disappointment.
Sarah arrived at the appointed location and waited, gun drawn but held loosely at her side. She wasn't about to take stupid risks, but she wasn't too worried.
She had a good feeling about this woman.
