Alex is equally displeased about leaving the warm, but most importantly (for him at the very least) dry, indoors. But just like Barricade, sometimes he has to. Thankfully just then it's not the case, he's full so to speak and not about to get into trouble where he is so this state will likely continue indefinitely. Plus, he's more or less aware of Dana's whereabouts, he knows more or less what she's up to-- and that's enough for him.

However he also hates staying idle, doesn't necessarily enjoy being locked up in one place for too long. Nothing he can do about that now, though, besides pacing the inside of the bar when he can (or rather his kind of pacing, which involved a lot climbing and some jumping).

Between restlessness and remaining dry and away from water in any form, Alex doesn't mind the latter option out of the two.

Unfortunately and unknowingly for him though, he has been a little too close to the mistletoe. And unlike most things, his body hasn't developed an immunity to the effects it has on just about everyone-- which, again, he's completely unaware of as of yet.

Either way, when Barricade returns, Alex is on top of that threshold-- on the larger entrance, sitting on the edge and browsing information on his bracelet.

Barricade is used to enduring things he doesn't like for the sake of productivity. It's why he doesn't mind just sticking it out and dealing with the snow for a little while to restock on supplies or dig out things in the Junkyard that he can take apart later. He just has to keep an optic on how his gears and other internals are handling it.

The trip's a bit shorter than others, this time, since he'd managed to dig up a Cybertronian arm fairly quickly. Even better, it was in good enough shape that he could strip most of the parts to keep in case one of the others needed replacements eventually.

Even if he 'retired' as a medic mostly, he can't quite stop thinking like one.

He comes back in, noticing Alex sitting on the lip of the threshold. The Saleen props one end of the arm on his shoulder - after making certain the door shut behind him - and grins up at his friend. "Hope you didn't get too bored."

There is not a whole lot of space up here, especially to sit or lie down, and any normal person would find it extremely difficult to hang on (if they even managed to climb up here). Not Alex though. Much like a cat (though damned whoever would point that out to him) he can sit there for hours, or even stretch out on his side, without dislodging himself from the narrow space. The sudden arrival doesn't move him, not any more than being pleased at having something to focus on.

"No," he replies after the briefest of pauses, as he closes down the bracelet display. "Not bored, just restless." Which, in a way, could be considered bored too. But it's a different kind of boredom. Despite feeling a bit claustrophobic, locked up, Alex does appreciate the chance to stay here to hide from the snow-- even more so appreciates the simple fact that Dana can stay here as well. Even with the information about that Soundwave robots, it's probably safer for her here, than anywhere else.

He notes the arm, separated from its owner, with a quirked eyebrow-- though the way he's seated, most of his expression is hidden in shade of the hoody. "Got into a fight and took a trophy?" He nods at Barricade's shoulder, where the ... item is resting in part. There is a hint of curiosity and amusement in his tone.

"Understand that." Being limited to one place - even if that place was relatively large like this building - can get most people antsy. But at least the reason for being stuck is (relatively) minor, or Barricade would be stuck too, trying to keep people from leaving. There's nothing dangerous or injurious about coming or going.

He glances to the arm with a pair of optics, just offering a grin and chuckle for now. "Not lately. Found this in the Junkyard. Going to strip it for parts." Though he does pause, considering the getting into a fight thing. "Besides, if I managed t'take off my opponent's arm, I'd probably beat them with it."

"Add salt to the injured pride," Alex retorts, clearly unbothered by the potential violence and actually perhaps even amused, "Or use whatever resources available. Or both." He approves either way, having used just about anything in a fight himself.

"How is it out there?" It's casual, almost a lazy drawl when he asks, but there's no hiding his interest. Is it managable? Because he will need to get out sooner or later, both for (questionable) sanity's sake, and business, so to speak. And he will, regardless of the answer to his question, but he can hope for something a little less frustrating than snow-- all snow, everywhere.

With a few quick movements, he jumps down to the ground. Gently. While he doesn't care about property damage usually, here he is a guest and Barricade is someone he-- respects (which is probably lightly said, but it's as much as he will admit consciously), and he can respect his space as well. There will be no random, acciental or intentional damage here.

"Little bit of both. Humiliation is incredibly effective as a tactic." Especially in the arenas, where he last fought regularly. There he did do it mostly to humiliate the other gladiator. But if you could take off the limp while it was shifted into a weapon... endless possibilities.

"Not too bad out there right now. Still cold, but there's spots where the snow's been cleared off." For now, anyway. Who knows when it could start again. It's better than it had been for a while, regardless.

Barricade takes a half-step back to give Alex a bit of room as he jumps down. He knows the other man could hit the ground a lot harder than he did; he can recall that quite clearly from when he was younger, here. He doesn't say anything, just nods his head in thanks. He appreciates the care being shown for his property.
