He's sure Soundwave has seen him coming, but that doesn't stop him. Knock Out parks his real self outside in vehicle form, carefully positioning himself at the curb for maximum appeal in the event someone wanders by. Part of him, though, wanders in.

Knock Out's hologram is a labor of love, possibly moreso than Soundwave's, for what Soundwave's lacks in detail Knock Out's more than makes up for. It's full of life and animation, his expressions and movements as fluid and realistic as any living body--particularly the smirk on his mouth as he slides up to sit beside Soundwave's holo, startling the birds away.

"Well, someone's been busy."

He makes no effort to hide the way he eyes the holoform, appraising Soundwave's work. He's even so bold as to reach over and lightly pinch one of Soundwave's arms to test the solidity.

Love wasn't exactly something that Soundwave put into his own holoform. His was designed for convenience and blending in and he succeeded at that -- in his opinion at least -- but he cut corners on things he deemed unnecessary to include. Such as vocal function. Combined with the fact that Soundwave just didn't get human behavior, what with humans being creatures motivated by desires and feelings and he having removed his own functions for that, his holoform just comes off as a very awkward, creepy man

The expression, or rather near lack of one, he gets in response isn't a surprise. Soundwave isn't the most emotive of bots normally--it makes perfect sense that his holoform would have the same lack of life to it. Still, Knock Out isn't deterred by the fact he knows he's annoying Soundwave. His real body is a safe enough distance to avoid sudden reprimand, leaving him free to test his limits here.

"Oh, don't be like that," Knock Out tuts, prodding the side of Soundwave's thigh. He finds it just as solid, complete with the appropriate clothing textures. Good.

"I'm just making sure everything's in order. I've discovered I have something of a knack for building holoforms."

There's another sharp grin as he leans over, intentionally encroaching on Soundwave's personal bubble.

"So, how detailed did you make it~?"

His annoyance is very mild to say the least, if you can even call it annoyance. It's more the fact that he has Knock Out labeled as a known nuisance and he was disrupting his quiet assessment of his new holoform. Not only was he scaring away the birds, but he also was somewhat interrupting his ability to blend in and people watch as well.

Personal bubble? Almost non-existent. Soundwave never was one to keep out of others personal space as well. But, the little bit of personal space he did have was being offended. Soundwave leans back from what he can manage, squinting slightly at Knock Out.

Detailed? Couldn't he see the detail he put in? The skin was porous, the clothing textured, the hair defined by each strand. What else could he mean?

"You seem to have most of the physical details down, but your social skills are a bit lacking."

Knock Out stays close, his grin verging on shit-eating as he muses just how far he could get with this. He's counting on Soundwave's lack of knowledge as his curious pinching and prodding turns into an overly friendly hand on the other holoforms thigh.

"You don't even know how to say hello properly, do you?" He sighs dramatically.

"I suppose I'll have to show you, hmm~?"

Soundwave is far from a stupid bot. Even with being a former gladiator, he's kind of a nerd by Cybertronian standards. Even so, his topics of interest usually lied in technology. Communications, things that can be used as weapons, or any other thing that he deemed useful to the Decepticon cause. As such, he really was painfully ignorant when it came to organic behaviours.

Nothing strikes him as particularly weird about having Knock Out's hand move to his holoform's thigh. In fact, it seems perfectly fine to him; organics always had this obsessive need to touch each other, even despite all the bacteria and illnesses they can spread that way. As far as he can tell, Knock Out was just playing the part.

He looks down at the hand and takes it as a cue, moving his own hand to the other mech's own thigh. He looks back up at Knock Out's face then, face still expressionless. Soundwave was just expecting him to go ahead and show him.

Knock Out is positively delighted with Soundwave's cooperation, his willingness to go along with whatever Knock Out has to show him. The hand on his thigh earns a smirk, and his holoform promptly leans in.

"Excellent. Now remember, the more tongue the better."

His free hand slides along Soundwave's jaw, guiding it into position, and presses lips of their holoforms together. He's unsure how much of a response to expect so he starts slow; just a careful, lazy kiss for now. Exploring, testing boundaries.

The more tongue, the better. Soundwave files that data away for future reference in interactions with humans. He's paying rapt attention to everything Knock Out does now, from the touch to his holoform's jaw to the initial press of lips against his. Oh. Kissing?

At first, Soundwave does nothing. Knock Out might as well be kissing a corpse, because his responsiveness is about the equivalent of one. He studies the movement of the other Decepticon's lips against his for a few moments, then presses back, learning by copying what the other mech's holoform does to him. He'll even lift his other hand to cup Knock Out's jaw.

Initially it's a little boring, with Soundwave providing about as much entertainment value as a dead fish. He almost contemplates stopping, but then...

Then things get interesting.

Finally he gets a reaction out of the spy, and it's enough to keep him going. Half the fun of having a holoform is using it, and Knock Out sees nothing strange about taking the kiss a little deeper, running his tongue over Soundwave's lips.
