when ; a week or two back. before Thanksgiving.

[ it's taken Tony the better part of two hours to cobble together the pie, but the sides won't hold, the top is slightly burnt and black, and the middle has collapsed in. Maybe he should've left it in the pot. Maybe he should've watched the stove a bit more carefully, but he got awfully distracted with the preparation of his apology, which he threw out anyway. Point is, the pie does not look that great, but it was made with love and care and probably a bit of guilt so it should taste decent.
...or like tears, but the point still stands. He's pacing around whatever the hostels have as a dining room, looking a little agitated for once as he figures out how to exactly explain the whole dying thing... or if he even has to. ]
