Jun's in the kitchen, but instead of whisking up a cranberry-calamari muffin mix or pulling out a fresh fruit and garlic pie, he's got his sniper rifle laid out on the table, checking rounds and making sure it's in top condition. Since, well, he plans on using it soon.
There still remained the issue of who was technically in charge. Jun knew he didn't want to be. He was a follower, not a leader; give the word and he'd head out in a flash, but don't make him responsible for anyone else.
