What: T-trying bonding exercises and schmoop.

[ Truthfully, he was at a loss on how to handle John. Maybe that wasn't the right way to think about it, but he-- well, he honestly, really didn't know. The kid was nice enough, sure, when he wasn't calling York some form of douchebag or another, but it was a little frustrating, honestly, to keep dealing with knowing that the kid just...didn't like him.
He could understand it to a point-- he was intruding on John's mom, and while older John might not have minded, really, younger John-- well, he's just a kid. York understands that, to a point, but damnit, he really, really wants the kid to like him.
He goes over anything he can think of in hopes of finding something that will interest him, and instead just settles on what he knows best-- locks, and hacking and anything like that. He's got a few things in hand when he knocks on John's door, dragging a hand through his hair, pretty sure he won't even let him in, but he has to try, right? ]
