George had been napping, but lightly - she'd been half-listening to Shaun's voice in the next room while he talked over the network, but she couldn't hear him clearly enough to tell who he was talking to.

When Shaun knocks, she sits up, raking her hair out of her face with one hand. He sounds serious, and that never bodes well. "What? Who?"

And. He couldn't help smiling slight, just at the sight of her.

Deep breath. "Buffy. She's been in the crash, but not bitten yet. I had her show me her arms."

Beat.

"I told her we know what she did. But I left the rest of things for in-person."

"Oh, Christ..." She rolls out of bed and moves to get dressed - she goes for the body armor first, though she knows she probably won't need it for Buffy. She doesn't trust this place, and under the circumstances... yeah, she's probably going to be paranoid for a while. More paranoid than usual.

"This week just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?"

"Could be worse, from where I'm standing." Last week was worse. By a long haul.

So long as George is around, everything's better.

He leans on the door-frame, eyes crinkling slightly as she dresses.

"We've got the way there to decide how pissed off we are at her. But... we're bringing her in here, right? At least for now."
