Tria watched the clock as she tidied her office, straightening books on shelves and fretting over the hibiscus in the corner as the time drew closer. It was the fourth or fifth time she'd gone over her office, fluffing couch pillows and making sure everything was in place.
Her office was homier than most of the medical facility, all warm tones and wood furniture, cozy upholstery and green plants. More like a living room than a doctors office--just how she liked it.
