HULLO would you like a dragon good sir? avengerofjade November 7 2011, 02:35:43 UTC
He's not the only person exploring. Wistala had been lazily making her way across the city and residential areas of the zone for some time, trying to get to the nearest Garden Zone instead, where there is hopefully some actual food to be had. 'Credits' and other imaginary currency held little interest for a dragon.

The only reason anyone might come across her now, on the ground, long green tail sticking out from between two housing units, was that she'd been distracted by the sight of a stray dog roaming the streets below. The barking had been annoying, but... Well. No more stray dog.

She'd always hated those things, anyway.

I would indeed like a dragon :) patternprophet November 7 2011, 04:39:56 UTC
Of all the things Leoben had expected to see on a space station, he had to admit that a dragon was not one of them. If anything, it was more fitting for Splendor than Sacrosanct, but all things considered, stranger things could happen. The dragon could also be one of the many whom the universe enjoyed toying with. And Leoben was not one to keep his curiosity in check, most of the time.

Of course, that brought the new question of how one started a conversation with a dragon.

"Hello?"

Wistala heard the sound of his approach a moment before he spoke - foolish drakka, being caught unaware like that! She started, scales flaring as she jerked around, twisting to protect her exposed back.

...Oh. Just one human, and no weapon in plain sight. Still, she drops her scaleless belly low to the ground to protect it, watching him warily.

"...Ah. Hello?"

Her jaws were still a bit bloody from the dog, which probably doesn't help make her any more approachable beyond the massive size.

Yup, definitely a dragon, as if there was any doubt before. Still, it was enough to make the cylon amazed as he'd always considered dragons to be fictional creatures. Dangerous fictional creatures, he reminded himself finally noticing the blood.

Still, he'd started the conversation so he might as well continue.

"I hope I wasn't interrupting something. I just didn't expect to see a dragon here."

The TARDIS tended to spend her time exploring the station, even though she'd been here for months by now. She'd park herself in some quiet corner and send out her hologram to take in the sights, recording the data for filing and parsing. It was routine by now and a strange comfort in a place without her pilot.

Today she was sweeping the Residential Zones. Again. It was the fifty-sixth time she'd done so, but with all the residents coming and going, it was always worth coming back and re-examining the area. So she was in R01, inspecting one of the buildings, when the man she'd spoken with a few days prior appeared, seemingly doing the same thing she was.

Head tilted, the ship approached the Cylon silently. Though solid, her hologram was still only an elaborate projection, after all.

"Are you staying here?"

Leoben turns when he hears her voice, nodding in recognition.

"For the moment, yes. I haven't had a chance to explore the other parts of the station yet."

It had been his intention to do so, but he kept discovering something new either in the zones themselves or otherwise. The Grid has his attention as well, as had the games available on the wearable.

"The station is vast," she admitted, looking up toward the top of a building. "One could easily become lost in exploring it." That gave her a moment of pause and she frowned, glancing at Leoben. "Not unlike space, if significantly more confined."

"I hadn't discounted the possibility," Leoben replied. "Though I suppose working one's way through the station could be a bit more methodical than through space."
