It's new. You'll get used to it.
Flexing his hand and examining it, he wasn't so sure. But at least it fooled his base sensors, or at least the one that followed the holomatter form. The only question would be as to if it would convince others.

He slides up to Convoy with a sigh, invading his personal space like it's his Primus-given right to be there, and taps the other holoform square in the chest.
"I didn't waste all that time just so you could be a wallflower, you know."
Reply
"The only sort of crowd I'm comfortable with is the sort I'm plowing through."
Killing optional.

He spends a few moment making a show of fussing over the other holoform, adjusting his clothes and brushing a few hairs back into place. None of it's necessary of course, but with Knock Out it's all about appearances in more way than one.
"You could at least keep me company after all the trouble I went through to get you here."
Reply
No, really. Why is he bothering to groom a holoform? Nemesis stares in utter noncomprehension, the motions all but meaningless to him. He could simply alter it with so much processing power, even being new to it. It wouldn't be that hard.
"...what, exactly, does keeping you company entail? You're the one who enjoys..."
He gestures out at the crowd. That.
Reply
"It means keeping me occupied. You can do that, can't you?"
There's an edge to his smirk now, one eyebrow twitching up for a moment.

"Humans have a stigma against interfacing in public, from what I understand. In addition," he continues, grabbing Knock Out by the wrist to pull him off, "there's no way I'd take you through holoform, without having at least the slightest idea of your actual sensory grid."
He's counting on bluntness to assist him, but considering this is Knock Out, who knows how he'll react.
Reply
"Who said anything about holoforms?"
It takes a lot to throw Knock Out for a loop and being blunt? Doesn't quite cut it. If anything he leans in more, apparently not bothered by Convoy's grip on his wrist.
"You're outside, I'm outside..."
He pulls back slightly and shrugs.
"But if you'd rather deal with holoforms, I can show you exactly how the sensory grid maps out."
Reply
"I'm not sure you could take my explorations. I tend to play rough."
At that, he lets go.
Reply
"That just shows how little you know about me, Convoy."
He idly fixes his sleeve, that same smug expression still plastered on his face.
"I'll have you know I can give just as well as I can take."
Reply
His gaze moves out to the crowd again, only half-interested in the conversation. Which is, to be fair, more than he was before. Even if he does take Knock Out on the thought, there's no way in pit he'd do it here.
Reply
As soon as Convoy's attention seems to shift away Knock Out reaches up, one hand sliding along his jawline until it comes to rest at the back of his neck.
"We could always get to know each other in a more traditional manner, if that's more your style. Either way, think of it as... keeping me out of trouble."
Reply
There's no innuendo in there, nor attempt at seduction. It's said so completely deadpan, however, that it's impossible not to read it as anything other than face value.
He doesn't bother trying to remove the hand. He just stares at Knock Out with an arched brow, and the flattest of looks.
Reply
"And I think I'm in need of a little discipline."
Even he's aware how corny it sounds, but that's hardly going to stop him now. Besides, it seems to suit the... atmosphere of the place. He can't really drink, not through his holoform anyways, but he can at least act the part of the slightly trashed clubber.
Reply
He did.
Nemesis...can't quite keep a straight face at that. Not for long. It's a combination of many factors; the holoforms, the utter ridiculousness turn of the conversation, and everything else...
He has to bring a hand to his face, the holomatter reacting to impulses from his own processor, and laugh softly. His hand covers his mouth, serving as an impromptu mask, but there's enough of it visible to show he's very much amused.
