Camille had simply decided to follow Ladon to "work" one day. She knew his bar was supposed to open soon, but Camille loved to ruin surprises. She comes up on the place in the form of a long, sinuous gray feline with no back legs--a tatzelwurm. She half-crawls half-slithers her way in the door, grinning.

"Hello, Laddiebuck! Ooh, look at this!" She hops up onto the nearest chair and curls her tail beneath her. "Nice place you've got here! You've been hard at work, eh?"

Ladon can't say he didn't notice the critter following him, but when it showed no sign of aggression, he didn't see a reason to deter it. Even strange animals are welcome company, especially in comparison to some of the folks on the station.

He's not too shocked when it talks, either. He's kind of getting used to Camille now. The robot door guard blinks its light-up eyes at him in recognition before going still once more. Ladon closes the door, then turns and quirks a brow at the cat-thing on a nearby chair.

"Thanks, yeah, s'kept me busy. The hell are you today? Some half-snake thing?"

Her whiskers turn forward and she bares her teeth in a panther-like grin. "Good to stay busy. I swear, when the station's not under threat of takeover or destruction, things get quiet and boring around here!"

Emphasis on the boring. Though at least it means she gets more patrons.

"Me, I'm a tatzelwurm! Not half snake at all, a species all its own." She coils and uncoils her back end. "One of the Legendaries from the Northern Quarter, rarely leave the Whodden, to be sure."

'Bored' was for normal people, who functioned at normal speeds and thought about the same. Bored was for those little twittering idiots that seemed incapable of realizing that perhaps if they got out and did something, their woe-begotten troubles in the realm of ennui would be as nothing.

Boredom, in short, was not something Pietro was prone to suffering. Asking him to remain, static and unmoving in any given place may as well have been like asking for the moon.

Sacrosanct was large enough to be explored, and Pietro was possessed of sufficient time and energy to take it to task. Finding the particular locale to which Ladon was squirrelling away alcohol wasn't exactly difficult.

So, he merely showed up at the counter. The only indication of his entry was the fact that the door seemed to open and close of its own accord. Well, the pioneer of this grand architecture seems engrossed, so he'll wait several seconds (a lifetime) to see if the man notices him.
