No matter how many times Jade pressed the button for Zone 12 -- and oh, she had pressed it at least a dozen times -- it would inevitably redirect her back to Zone 02. She wondered what was going on; the Zone had been perfectly accessible until now, as she had been able to go and find Jin with no problem whatsoever. What made today any different?

She hated stupid robots. Karkat was wearing off on her.
Jade screamed in frustration, kicking the elaborate machinery. She had to find Dave. If there was one thing she wouldn't stand for, it was nabbing her best friend and letting him go god knows where in the station so that some insane AI could play mind games with him. She'd had enough of this. ]
